GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Darin Cook, president of Infinite Energy, passes the torch to local businesses by offering suggestions and tips on how to build a reputable and sustainable corporate culture. On November 15 from 7:30-9:00 a.m., Cook will discuss how he and co-founder Rich Blaser took a two-man operation and turned it into one of the largest privately held companies in Florida; while building a corporate culture to increase employee recruitment and retention.
The event is part of Company Lifestyle, a series of workshops for employers to discuss strategies to enhance company culture, address issues in the workplace and establish a network of support. The series is hosted by FloridaWorks in collaboration with the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce. Business owners interested in learning from other companies with successful corporate cultures are invited to attend.
Gainesville Health and Fitness will present at the third workshop held on January 11, 2014. Gainesville Health and Fitness will discuss how it defined its organizational culture and incorporated health consciousness in order to increase employee recruitment and retention efforts.
All sessions are held at the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, 300 E. University Ave. This free-of-charge event is open to all businesses (both Chamber members and non-members). Companies can email [email protected] for RSVP and/or questions.
